CRH Medical bursts into Ohio through acquisition — 4 insights

Vancouver, Canada-based CRH Medical acquired a 51 percent interest in Dayton-based Western Ohio Sedation Associates.

1. WOSA provides anesthesia services to three ASCs in the region.

2. The acquisition is CRH's first in Ohio.

3. CRH used a combination of financing and cash to close the transaction.

4. Western Ohio Sedation Associates has estimated annual revenues of $5.3 million.

CRH CEO Edward Wright said, "We are very pleased to have completed another accretive acquisition in 2018. Western Ohio is an existing O'Regan customer and our first acquisition in Ohio. We look forward to continuing to leverage the strength of our O'Regan relationships to further expand our anesthesia business."
