ASA Publishes Q&A With Dr. Mark Lema on Cancer Pain

The American Society of Anesthesiologists have published a Q&A column with Mark Lema, MD, PhD, a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and professor and chair of anesthesiology at the State University of New York at Buffalo.

 

The column focuses on cancer pain and the importance of pain medicine specialists to understand the pain medicine needs of a cancer patient.

 

In the Q&A, Dr. Lema discusses issues including the cause of cancer pain, different types of pain felt by cancer patients and the treatment of cancer pain.
