1. Physicians who are certified by an ABMS member board can earn their maintenance of certification improvement in medical practice credits by participating in the perioperative surgical home learning collaborative.

2. ASA’s participation will be guided by its economics and practice innovation department.

3. ABMS CEO Richard Hawkins, MD, said, “The ASA has created a truly comprehensive program that concentrates on the core improvements most sectors in healthcare are striving to address — improved delivery, better outcomes and cost reduction.
