Anesthesiologist pleads guilty to Schedule II drug conspiracy 

A Louisville anesthesiologist has pleaded guilty to conspiring with others to issue pre-signed and unsigned prescriptions for Schedule II drugs.

Erek Davodwich, MD, intentionally conspired with others at his medical practice to use a DEA number issued to another person to prescribe drugs, the Justice Department said in a Sept. 17 news release. 

Sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 12 and the maximum penalty is four years in prison, according to the release.
