Outcome Capital, a life sciences and healthcare advisory and investment banking firm, has launched its first ophthalmology practice.
The ophthalmology practice aims to address eye disease. Vision impairment impacts more than 2 billion individuals globally, according to a July 8 news release from Outcome Capital.
The company named Paul Ryb as managing director, who will lead the practice, providing strategic guidance, transactional support and advisory services to clients in the ophthalmology space.
Mr. Ryb has more than 30 years of experience in global investment banking, capital markets, venture capital and ophthalmic innovation, the release said.
