UAMS eye institute adds Dr. Chaow Charoenkijkajorn

Little Rock, Ark.-based Harvey & Bernice Jones Eye Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science added Chaow Charoenkijkajorn, MD, to its staff.

Dr. Charoenkijkajorn’s medical interests include neuro-ophthalmology and ocular pathology, and he treats patients with various neuro-ophthalmic conditions, according to a March 4 news release. 

Dr. Charoenkijkajorn is also an assistant professor at the Jones Eye Institute and the UAMS College of Medicine Department of Ophthalmology, and has authored more than 30 journal articles, four book chapters and three books.

UAMS is the only health sciences university in Arkansas and has 3,275 students, 890 medical residents and fellows, and five dental residents, the release said.
