5 most expensive ASC projects in 2023 

Here are the five most expensive ASC projects Becker’s has covered since Jan. 1:

1. Eisenhower Health’s Rancho Mirage (Calif.) Hospital is investing $156 million in a four-story cardiology ASC and an expansion of its cardiology pavilion. 

2. Cooper University Health Care announced plans for its $150 million ambulatory care center inside of a former Sears department store in Moorestown, N.J.

3. The University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington submitted a certificate of need application for a $130 million multispecialty ASC.

4. Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist has submitted a cost overrun application for its ASCs that will now cost an estimated $78.4 million. 

5. HealthPartners began construction on a $50.5 million specialty ASC in Woodbury, Minn.
