5 organizations team up to break ground on ASC in North Carolina

Compass Surgical Partners has begun construction on the Western Carolina Surgery Center, an ASC launched in partnership with AdventHealth Henderson, Asheville ENT, Carolina Ophthalmology and Emerge Orthopaedics in Asheville, N.C.

The center adds surgical center capacity to the growing region and is expected to open in the summer of 2021, according to a March 9 press release. 

General contractor Brasfield & Gorrie is also engaged on the project; Compass has built multiple centers with the firm.
