Illinois hospital expands GI service through $50M project

Marysville, Ill.-based Memorial Health opened its $50 million Memorial 2020 project, which developed a new inpatient and outpatient facility, the Urbana Daily Citizen reports.

The hospital built a separate inpatient and outpatient pavilion on its campus in Marysville. The inpatient pavilion will open Oct. 27, with the outpatient pavilion opening in mid-November.

The outpatient pavilion will host a number of medical specialties, including gastroenterology, oncology, nephrology, neurology, neurosurgery and rheumatology.

The inpatient pavilion has 36 patient rooms that will replace the hospital’s intensive care unit, medical-surgical unit and step-down area.
