Three things to know:
1. The 33,500-square-foot Brandon Surgery Center opened June 1.
2. The HCA-affiliated, Medicare-certified ASC is equipped with eight operating rooms, six procedure rooms and 45 postanesthesia care unit bays. It is HCA’s largest surgery center.
3. Brandon Surgery Center’s clinical team will offer general surgery and orthopedic services, as well as endoscopy, ENT, ophthalmology and urology. Nurses at the center are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
