1. Provide a range. Give patients a range for what a procedure might cost, including an amount the procedure cost will not exceed.
2. Train staff. Staff at ASCs should be trained on how to approach conversations about procedure prices.
3. Give quality data. Provide prospective patients with quality information they can use to put surgery costs in perspective.
