Here are five recent ASC acquisitions and partnerships announced in December 2017.

Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and Surgical Care Affiliates officially opened Wake Forest Baptist Health Outpatient Surgery — Clemmons (N.C.).

Pocatello (Idaho) Women’s Health Clinic affiliated with Blackfoot, Idaho-based Bingham Memorial Hospital, and the affiliation will include Pocatello-based Skyline Surgery Center.

Chattanooga, Tenn.-based CHI Memorial Hospital will acquire Ringgold, Ga.-based Hutcheson on the Parkway as well as Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.-based Cornerstone Medical Center.

The new Valley Health Surgery Center in Winchester, Va., accepted its first patients. The center is a joint venture between Winchester-based Valley Health and 50-plus local physicians.

Atlanta-based EyeSouth Partners entered into a strategic partnership with Decatur-based Georgia Ophthalmology Associates to expand its presence in the Atlanta metropolitan area.
