Management services organization Spectrum Vision Partners entered into a strategic partnership with with Fairfield-based Ophthalmic Consultants of Connecticut and the Norwalk, Conn.-based New Vision Cataract Center to help the group expand.

Here’s what you should know:

1. The partnership will help OCC and NVCC expand their presence in the region.

2. Spectrum Vision Partners CEO Tom Burke said, “This marks Spectrum Vision Partners’ first affiliation within a month of our formation as part of our Tri-State strategy. OCC and NVCC have the attributes we seek in our growth platform partnerships; eye doctors and surgeons who provide clinical excellence that are like-minded with a local market leadership position.”

3. This is SVP’s second major partnership since November.

4. All OCC and NVCC physicians will remain in their current roles and will retain their ownership percentage.
