Mouen Khashab, MD, associate professor of medicine and director of therapeutic endoscopy, performed the first Medigus Ultrasonic Surgical Endostapler procedure at Baltimore-based The Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Mark Koppel, MD, JD, will serve as PENTAX Medical’s CMO of the Americas.

Douglas A. Corley, MD, PhD, MPH, and Detlef Schuppan, MD, PhD, served as guest editors for the special issue released by the American Gastroenterological Association’s official journal Gastroenterology.
