Ophthalmologist Dr. Howard Krauss Named to California Medical Board

California Governor Edmund Brown Jr., appointed ophthalmologist Howard Krauss, MD, to the state’s medical board.

His appointment requires state Senate confirmation.

Dr. Krauss is the director of neurosurgical ophthalmology at Saint John’s Brain Tumor Center in Santa Monica and director of ophthalmology at Pacific Eye and Ear in Los Angeles. He is also a clinical professor of ophthalmology and neurosurgery at UCLA.

Dr. Krauss is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a founding member of the North American Skull Base Society.
