Lpath Names Dr. Dario Paggiarino Chief Development Officer, Senior Vice President

Lpath, San Diego-based therapeutic antibody company, has announced the appointment of Dario Paggiarino, MD, as its senior vice president and chief development officer, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.

Dr. Paggiarino has previously held several executive positions in the area of ophthalmology for companies including Alcon, Pfizer Global R&D and Pharmacia Global.

Lpath is currently developing drugs for wet macular degeneration and renal cell carcinoma patients.
