11 Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush Physicians Plan to Buy 65% Share of Gold Cost Surgicenter

A group of 11 physicians from the Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush practice in Chicago have submitted an application to the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board for the purchase of a 65 percent share in Gold Coast Surgicenter in Chicago, according to a Crain’s Chicago Business report.

The physicians, acting independently of Midwest Orthopaedics as a whole, will pay $1.95 million for the 65 percent ownership.

The deal is expected to officially close on July 1.
