Dr. Simpson is a clinical professor of ophthalmology at UCI’s Gavin Herbert Eye Institute. She is currently working on developing a sustained release treatment for corneal cystinosis.
Dr. Simpson earned her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed her residency at St. Joseph Mercy Health System, both in Ann Arbor.
