TearScience Receives $70M in Funding

TearScience, a medical device company based in Morrisville, N.C., has received up to $70 million from HealthCare Royalty Partners in order to market the TearScience system for people suffering from dry eye conditions.

The TearScience system is designed to help physicians diagnosis and treat dry eye conditions.

HealthCare Royalty Partners, based in Stamford, Conn., is an international healthcare investment firm.
