Gus Harb, MD, urologist and chairman of the Spring Park Surgery Board of Directors, said the new technology will advance the center’s cataract surgery program. The surgeons at Spring Park currently perform 60 percent of all cataract procedures in the region.
Spring Park Surgery Center was one of the first ambulatory surgery centers in the Midwest, opening in 1984.
