Ophthalmologist on the Move: Dr. Jorge Rivera Joins MA’s Advanced Eye Centers

Ophthalmologist Jorge J. Rivera, MD, has joined Advanced Eye Centers in Massachusetts, according to a practice report.

Dr. Rivera is a board-certified ophthalmologist. He is an assistant clinical professor of ophthalmology at Brown University School of Medicine. He practices out of Advanced Eye Centers’ Dartmouth, Mass., office.

 

Dr. Rivera received his MD from University of Puerto Rico Medical School. He then completed a residency in ophthalmology at New England Eye Center, Tufts University School of Medicine, subspecialty training in glaucoma at New England Eye Center and Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston and a cornea, external diseases and refractive surgery fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine, Barnes Jewish Hospital.
