Ophthalmologists Drs. Edward Isbey and Robert Wiggins Receive AAO Achievement Award

Ophthalmologists Edward K. Isbey III, MD, and Robert E. Wiggins Jr., MD, have received the 2012 American Academy of Ophthalmology Achievement Award, according to a news release.

Both physicians practice at Asheville (N.C.) Eye Associates.

 

Dr. Isbey specializes in vision correction surgery, cataract surgery, corneal transplants and corneal diseases. He joined Asheville Eye Associates in 1987.

 

Dr. Wiggins specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology, pediatric ophthalmology and neuro-ophthalmology. He joined Asheville Eye Associates in 1991.

 

They received the AAO award for contributions to AAO, its scientific and educational programs and to ophthalmology.
