Ophthalmologist Dr. Mike Carroll Dies at 86

Ophthalmologist Mike Carroll, MD, has died, according to a Beverly Review report.

Dr. Carroll, a resident of Chicago neighborhood Beverly, died Sept. 12. He was 86.

 

Dr. Carroll was an eye surgeon who served Beverly and surrounding communities for many years. He attended Loyola Medical School and graduated in 1953.

 

Dr. Carroll is known, in part, for providing testimony in 1988 that helped expose fraudulent eye surgery practices at a Chicago area eye clinic.
