Ophthalmologist Dr. Harl Mansur Jr. Dead at 96

Ophthalmologist Harl D. Mansur Jr., MD, has died, according to a Times Record News report.

Dr. Mansur died Sept. 25 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was 96.

 

Dr. Mansur received his MD from University of Oklahoma, School of Medicine. He practiced ophthalmology in Wichita Falls from 1948 to 1996.

 

Dr. Mansur served in several positions in the Wichita Falls medical community, including president of the Wichita County Medical Society, president of the Texas Ophthalmology Association, chief of surgery at Wichita General Hospital and president of the Wichita General Hospital Staff.
