FL’s Gulfcoast Eye Care Adds LipiFlow Thermal Pulsation Therapy

Gulfcoast Eye Care in Palm Harbor, Fla., has added LipiFlow thermal pulsation therapy to its practice, according to a news release.

The technology uses gentle heat and occasional pressure to unblock glands in the eyelid that have become congested over time. The dry eye treatment typically lasts about 12 minutes.

 

Gulfcoast Eye Care is led by ophthalmologist Michael Manning, MD. The eye care practice is the first ophthalmology center in Florida to offer the LipiFlow technology, according to the release.
