OrthoVirginia adds three new physicians to practice

Fairfax-based OrthoVirginia announced Oct. 1 it will add three new physicians, according to a press release.

Vignesh Alamanda, MD, joined the practice Aug. 24 as a joint replacement surgeon, and studied at the University of South Florida in Tampa and Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tenn. 

Daniel Gloekler, MD, joined as an orthopedic trauma surgeon Aug. 20 and studied at the University of Rochester (N.Y.) and Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., the report said.

Tiffany Pan, MD, joined as a hand, wrist and elbow surgeon Aug. 6 and studied at Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, the report said.


"We are beyond delighted to welcome Dr. Alamanda, Dr. Gloekler and Dr. Pan to OrthoVirginia," Justin Zakia, chief administrative officer of OrthoVirginia, said in a statement. "With the addition of these exceptional new physicians we continue to expand our services in northern Virginia in support of our mission to provide the very best care to our communities."
