Here are three quick points:
1. The program starts on Feb. 1, and runs over a 12-week period.
2. Les Jebson, of the SIU School of Medicine, and Paul Acedera, of SIU’s Carbondale’s Extended Campus, will teach the program. They are both licensed healthcare risk mangers.
3. The course focuses on organization healthcare risk management principles, financial implications, claims processes, national regulations and organization safety principles.
