New Illinois Surgery Center Breaks Ground in Waterloo

A new $3.2 million surgery center has broken ground in Waterloo, Ill., according to a report from Suburban Journals.

Construction on the Monroe County Surgical Center began Nov. 10. The two OR facility will offer same-day services and surgery in specialties including orthopedics, podiatry, GI, urology and ENT, according to the report.

 

The surgery center, with about 10 physicians involved in the project, is expected to open in July 2011.
