The surgeons of Lockport-based Great Lakes Surgical Associates want to renovate a vacant medical building for a four-unit surgery center, which would be the first ASC in eastern Niagara County.
Before the ASC project can begin, the surgeons have requested a 10-year tax break and would need the CON, the approval of which would likely require a letter of support from Eastern Niagara Hospital, the nearest hospital to the proposed project, according to the report.
