Here’s what you need to know:

1. The surveys are conducted by HealthyWomen and sponsored by AbbVie.

2. The results from the survey are meant to identify gaps in knowledge, so that HealthyWomen can develop relevant educational content; the ultimate goal is to increase awareness and understanding of endometriosis, since it is an underdiagnosed condition.

3. The surveys are part of an awareness campaigned called “Get in the Know About ME in EndoMEtriosis,” which aims to increase consumer knowledge about endometriosis.
