2. Booz Allen will utilize MedStar’s patient safety event reporting database to determine safety hazards. The company plans to use MedStar’s radiology reporting system to accelerate critical diagnostic information processing.
3. Further, Booz Allen will conduct data mining techniques to pinpoint major safety issues.
4. Using natural language processing algorithms, Booz Allen can look at clinical data and utilize open source biomedical ontologies to recognize drugs, symptoms and procedures in free text.
5. Booz Allen is a management and technology consulting and engineering services firm. The MedStar Institute for Innovation focuses on advancing health.
