1. Mr. Gilbert held leadership positions at the University of Kentucky.
2. Mr. Gilbert is currently COO and senior vice president at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
3. His previous work also includes a position as associate dean for administration and finance at the UK College of Medicine and an administrator position with Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine’s pediatric department.
4. Mr. Gilbert received his master’s degree in finance from Loyola University in Baltimore.
5. UC Health believes Mr. Gilbert’s experience in managing different clinical enterprises at various leading academic medical centers will be an asset for UC Health.
