McKesson Ventures welcomes new investment partner

McKesson Ventures, the venture capital segment of McKesson, has welcomed Michelle Snyder as its newest investment partner, according to a Dec. 1 press release.

Ms. Snyder is known for her leadership building the medical reference app Epocrates, and her experience includes marketing, business development, operations and strategy planning, the release said. She brings more than 25 years of experience, and her hiring expands McKesson’s number of female partners.

“With the convergence of new technologies, advanced analytics, innovative payment models and consumerism, now is the time to invest in healthcare innovation,” Ms. Snyder said in the release. “Joining the McKesson Ventures team means helping innovative, high-growth companies meet their full potential. The future of healthcare will be determined by their success and we’re here to help them.”
