Mckesson’s new supply distribution center opens near Seattle

Supply chain company McKesson has opened a new distribution center outside Seattle.

The 118,500-square-foot facility will serve hospitals, retail and community pharmacies in Washington. The building includes eco-friendly features such as an energy management system and a reflective roof to reduce heat in the building.

“It’s not just a package, it’s a patient,” said Cameron Roberts, distribution center manager. “We are proud of this new, cutting-edge distribution center and the leaner and greener ways that we can support our customers and their patients.”

The new center will create about 75 jobs.
