New York City-based Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Group joined Long Island, N.Y.-based Northwell Health.
Here's what you should know:
1. Orlin & Cohen has 80 providers on staff at eight Long Island locations.
2. The practice's 35 physicians specialize in sports medicine and total joint replacement.
3. Orlin & Cohen's 500 employees will become Northwell employees.
4. Northwell has a portfolio of 17 outpatient practices and 10 hospital-based practices. Northwell entered into a similar agreement with Philadelphia-based Rothman Institute in April 2017.
