HIPAA-compliant two-way video for case support and remote proctoring was added to the platform, boosting efficiency and proficiency, according to a press release.

“Travel restrictions and social distancing are impacting every area of life, and the OR is no exception,” Jennifer Fried, CEO of ExplORer Surgical, said in a statement. “The medical device rep’s ability to guide the team through a complicated procedure using a robust digital toolset while being completely remote is critical right now — and we see it staying this way for the foreseeable future. Our platform goes above and beyond having a camera in the room — we’re delivering custom support for each team member, and allowing them to gather and analyze data seamlessly.”
