Tyler Bron, MD, Ted Stringer, MD, and Eric Jepson, MD, are the three physicians at Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group trained to use the technology. During surgery, the Mako robot helps guide the surgeon by creating a 3D model of the patient’s knee. The patient’s knee implant is then customized for the patient’s unique anatomy.
The practice was established in 1994 and has 16 physicians on staff.
