Orthopedic surgeon Mark Hagy, MD, joined Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Avera Orthopedics' staff, the Capital Journal reports.
What you should know:
1. Dr. Hagy specializes in sports medicine, total joint arthroplasty, cartilage restoration and total hip and knee replacements.
2. He earned his medical degree from Richmond-based Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. He completed a residency at Iowa City-based University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
3. Dr. Hagy will see patients at Avera's clinic in Pierre, S.D.
