3 orthopedics ASCs opening or expanding in July

Becker’s ASC Review reported on the opening or expansion of three ASCs offering orthopedics services in July:

1. First Coast Orthopedic Center plans to build a single-story ASC in Jacksonville, Fla. The city of Jacksonville issued a commercial building permit for the center July 15.

2. Scottsdale, Ariz.-based HonorHealth will build an ASC at Phoenix-based Sonoran Health and Emergency Center. The ASC will perform same-day surgery and feature medical office space for obstetric, pediatric, orthopedic and general surgery specialists.

3. Raleigh, N.C.-based Triangle Orthopaedics Surgery Center gained permission on May 1 to move forward with a 5,320-square-foot expansion and 1,930-square-foot renovation.
