IRIDEX Announces Over $500k of Laser System Sales in Overseas Markets

IRIDEX, Mountain View, Calif.-based laser-based medical systems development company, has announced the recent sale of over $500,000 of its laser systems designed to treat eye conditions to the Brazilian, Russian, Chinese and Indian markets.

IRIDEX CEO and President Will Moore believes these sales are due in part to a shift in the ophthalmology market from drug-based treatments towards laser-based treatments.
