VisionFirst Eye Center recently introduced the LenSx femtosecond laser to its facility. The laser is the first device of this type approved by the FDA for cataract surgery.
In the first day of the device’s use, the two physicians performed nine cataract surgeries, with additional surgeries scheduled throughout the week.
