Tenet Healthcare, Hospital for Special Surgery form joint venture to build $23M ASC

Addison, Texas-based United Surgical Partners International secured a $23.46 million loan to build a surgery center in West Palm Beach, Fla., South Florida Business Journal reports.

Here are three details:

1. The project is a joint venture between USPI’s parent company, Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare, and New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery.

2. The four-story, 52,721-square-foot medical office building will replace an apartment building near the Tenet-owned Good Samaritan Hospital.

3. Frost Bank awarded a mortgage to Addison-based 300 PBL Development, a USPI affiliate.
