New ASC Development

Jackson (Miss.) Heart Clinic broke ground on a cardiovascular ASC and medical office building Sept. 7, according to The Northside Sun. 

Five ASCs have been opened or announced in New York in the past month, as reported by Becker's ASC Review.

Berlin, Md.-based Atlantic General Hospital broke ground on a medical facility that will include an ASC Aug. 31, local TV news station 47ABC reported.

Jackson Township-based Ohio Head and Neck Surgeons is opening an ASC, The Repository reported Aug. 31.

Arise Vascular and local physicians opened a cardiovascular ASC in Lafayette, La., according to an Aug. 30 release. 

Parma, Ohio-based Apex Skin Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center will open its11th office in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

Iredell Health System performed the first procedure at its new surgery clinic in Mooresville, N.C., according to the health system.
