Outpatient surgery center set to open as part of $25M The Orthopaedic Center

The Athens, Ala.-based The Orthopaedic Center is set to open an outpatient surgery center next month, DecaturDaily reported.

Here are the key details to know about the center:

1. The facility will have four operating rooms, as well as imaging equipment, a laboratory and a pharmacy.

2. Surgeons won’t be able to perform surgeries at the center until Sept. 19.

3. The, 80,000-square-foot, $25 million Orthopaedic Center broke ground in January of 2017, and was completed last November.
