Ohio hospital, surgeons partner for $5.8M surgery center — 4 insights

Norwalk, Ohio-based Fisher-Titus Medical Center and area surgeons are partnering for a regional surgery center in Norwalk, the Norwalk Reflector reports.

What you should know:

1. Surgeons from five physician groups and Fisher-Titus will develop and operate an ASC next to a Fisher-Titus facility.

2. Surgery Center of North Central Ohio will be 12,000 square feet and will feature three operating rooms and a procedure room.

3. Administrators expect the center will cost $5.8 million and will open in late 2020.

4. The groups tapped Franklin, Tenn.-based Health Care Facilities Partners to manage the center’s operations.
