What you should know:
1. Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton President Anthony Williamson will explain how attendees can help the ASC project move forward.
2. The Georgia Department of Community Health is expected to make a decision on the project in March.
3. If approved, the ASC could open in spring 2021.
“ASCs typically have less intense services compared to being in a hospital, generally resulting in a lower cost. Patients who have surgery or a procedure at an ASC usually return home on the same day,” the event page states. “We need YOUR support to help secure state approval and move forward.
