What you should know:
1. Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton President Anthony Williamson will explain how attendees can help the ASC project move forward.
2. The Georgia Department of Community Health is expected to make a decision on the project in March.
3. If approved, the ASC could open in spring 2021.
“ASCs typically have less intense services compared to being in a hospital, generally resulting in a lower cost. Patients who have surgery or a procedure at an ASC usually return home on the same day,” the event page states. “We need YOUR support to help secure state approval and move forward. Please come to this information session to learn more our efforts to bring this important service to the community.”
