Compass Surgical Partners, physicians team up to open Florida ASC — 3 highlights

Raleigh, N.C.-based Compass Surgical Partners opened Skyway Surgery Center in St. Petersburg, Fla., in partnership with a group of independent neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons and pain management specialists.

What you should know:

1. The 10,000-square-foot ASC opened Jan. 24.

2. It has two operating rooms and one additional procedure room.

3. The center plans to seek accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.
