The facility was built in partnership with two independent physician groups in the area and is expected to become a “destination center” for cardiovascular and surgical care, according to the report.

The three-floor, 60,000-square-foot facility will house cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics and more.

The ASC will encompass 20,000 square feet of the facility and will be tailored to serve independent medical groups, AdventHealth physicians and an array of local providers in the area.

Construction on the $45.7 million facility began in February.
