Here are 13 hospitals and health systems that announced or completed ASCs and outpatient developments in July, as reported by Becker’s:
1. Salisbury, Md.-based TidalHealth broke ground on what will become the system’s largest outpatient facility. The 150,000-square-foot healthcare complex in Millsboro, Del., will have a staff of 350 to 500 employees once fully completed.
2. Miami-based Mount Sinai Medical Center opened a new 33,000-square-foot outpatient facility in East Hialeah, Fla. The site currently offers primary care and will add cardiology and urology services within 90 days.
3.UC San Diego Health opened the McGrath Outpatient Pavilion in San Diego, a $25 million, 250,000-square-foot facility designed to expand access to outpatient, surgical and cancer care.
4. Canton, Ill.-based Graham Health System broke ground on a $5.1 million ASC in Galesburg, Ill.
5. Fort Myers, Fla.-based Lee Health is set to open a new outpatient facility in Cape Coral’s Bimini Square development this fall to expand access to care for the city’s growing population.
The center will offer a range of services, including adult and pediatric primary care, cardiology, behavioral health, women’s health, imaging and lab services
6. St. Louis-based SSM Health broke ground on a 40,000-square-foot outpatient center in Verona, Wis.
7. NYU Langone Hospitals filed a certificate of need for a freestanding ASC in West Harrison, N.Y. The facility would focus on orthopedic services and be established in a currently unoccupied space of an office building.
8. Cleveland Clinic Children’s opened its first standalone pediatric medical outpatient center in Rocky River, Ohio.
9. Morehead City, N.C.-based Carteret Health Care will apply for approval to build an ASC in Cedar Point, N.C.
10.N YU Langone Health opened an outpatient care center in Middle Island, N.Y.
11. Mount Sinai South Nassau is planning to open an ambulatory multi-specialty in Wantagh, N.Y.
12. Sutter Health opened a new surgical facility inside the Tower Health and Wellness Center in Turlock, Calif.
13. RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group is planning to open a multispecialty ambulatory care facility in Old Bridge, N.J.
