Tenet names Jeffrey Welch market CEO: 3 notes

Tenet Healthcare Corp. selected Jeffrey Welch as its new market CEO, according to D Healthcare Magazine.

Here are three notes:

1. In his role, Mr. Welch will be responsible for Tenet hospitals in the northeast division, including Natick, Mass.-based MetroWest Medical Center’s Leonard Morse Hospital, MetroWest Medical Center’s Framingham (Mass.) Union Hospital and Worcester, Mass.-based St. Vincent Hospital.

2. He previously was CEO of Naples, Fla.-based Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, a Tenet affiliate.

3. Mr. Welch served as Coral Gables (Fla.) Hospital CEO and Delray Beach, Fla.-based Delray Medical Center’s COO.
